Mugs full of love

To me, making with love means crafting something intentionally - for a person, for a place, for a moment that matters.

I recently made a set of mugs for my daughter, who with her partner runs a training studio that is anything but a typical gym: a calm, welcoming haven that nurtures wellbeing, inner strength, and connection. They’ve designed a space where people can train, converse and be supported — complete with a small bar that invites warm social moments.

She asked for mugs that would belong there, that would quietly amplify the care in every detail. I worked in a richly textured clay to shape eight generous cups—broad, comforting handles and softly sloping sides that suggest protection and embrace. Each was glazed in a subtle, earthy green, a timeless finish that lends them a subtle, reassuring elegance and a sense of home.
